Bended Straight Lines

Oh no, those horizontal lines are bended, pressured by heavy array of black and white squares!

But don't worry, they're bended in your brain only. In reality, they are firm and straight as laser light!

Pulsating Square of Nothing

As the small circles intersect with the large ones, you'll 'see' the outlines of a pulsating square.

Actually, there is no square, it's your over-smart brain trying to visualize in terms of solid shapes, and fills in the (logic) blanks.
